Eduardo Duarte is a Peruvian freelance photographer based in New York City. He focuses on documentary, event, and travel photography.

As important as capturing that perfect shot is his approach, his interactions with people. He says that if you just pause and listen, the Cuban boxer will reveal his life story, the Indian holy man will invite you to share his pipe, and the Senegalese shoeshine boy bring you home to meet his mother over a cup of sugary coffee.

Eduardo’s passion for exploring indigenous cultures has carried him on rusty buses and rickety planes to some of the most distant corners of the world, from the sub-Saharan village Agadez in West Africa to the boundless steppes of Mongolia.
